Interaction Engineering MIG Welder / Fabricator Our client, a reputable structural steel company, is seeking an experienced MIG Welder / Fabricator to join their team. This position involves working on a wide range of structural steel projects, producing high-quality welded assemblies and components for commercial and industrial builds. Key Responsibilities: MIG welding of structural steel beams, columns, frames and fabricated assemblies Reading and interpreting technical drawings, steelwork details and fabrication schedules Measuring, cutting and preparing steel sections for fabrication Operating fabrication machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently Ensuring all work meets required tolerances and industry standards Working effectively to meet project deadlines and production targets Desirable Skills (Not Essential): Experience with CNC machines such as press brakes, saw lines or plasma/laser cutters Ability to support the setup and operation of automated structural steel fabrication processes Requirements: Proven experience as a MIG welder/fabricator in the structural steel sector Strong knowledge of steel fabrication techniques, materials and workshop processes Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing quality work Ability to work both independently and as part of a workshop team Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious What We Offer: Competitive pay depending on experience The opportunity to work on diverse and high-profile structural steel projects Supportive team environment with opportunities for further development and training If you have solid experience in structural steel fabrication and are looking for a new opportunity within a growing company, we'd like to hear from you.
