Job Title: Sales Engineer – Facades Sector

About the Role:
We are seeking a driven and technically-minded Sales Engineer with proven Business Development experience in the facades industry to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a results-focused individual with deep knowledge of faΓ§ade systems, materials, and project cycles to play a key role in expanding our client base and project portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the facades sector

  • Manage and develop relationships with architects, contractors, developers, and consultants

  • Provide technical support and product knowledge throughout the sales process

  • Prepare and deliver detailed quotations, proposals, and presentations

  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy

  • Collaborate with the internal design and engineering teams to ensure client requirements are met

  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and client meetings as required

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a sales or business development role within the facades sector (essential)

  • Strong understanding of cladding systems, curtain walling, rainscreen facades, or related building envelope products

  • Technical background or qualification in engineering, construction, or architecture (preferred)

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

  • Ability to manage long sales cycles and multiple stakeholders

  • Full UK driving license and willingness to travel as needed
