About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled and reliable Site Welder / Fabricator with strong experience in MIG and TIG welding. This role involves on-site fabrication, installation, repairs, and general welding work across a variety of industrial, commercial, and construction environments. The ideal candidate will be confident working independently, able to interpret drawings, and capable of producing clean, high-quality welds with a focus on safety and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MIG and TIG welding to a high standard
- Carry out on-site fabrication and installation work
- Read and interpret technical drawings and measurements
- Fabricate, assemble, and fit metal components
- Complete repairs, modifications, and maintenance tasks
- Ensure safe working practices at all times
- Work collaboratively with site teams, contractors, and supervisors
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience in both MIG and TIG welding
- Strong fabrication skills and competent use of workshop tools
- Ability to work on-site and manage work independently
- Experience with stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminium
- Ability to problem-solve and adapt to on-site challenges
- Understanding of health and safety procedures
- Full UK driving licence (preferred)
- CSCS card (advantage but not essential)
