Interaction Engineering Commercial Vehicle Trailer Fitter / Welder Location: Peterborough Β£14.50βΒ£17.00 per hour DOE Full-time Commercial Vehicles / Trailers / Body Repair We are currently recruiting for an experienced Trailer Fitter / Welder to join a busy commercial vehicle and body repair operation in Peterborough. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with experience working on commercial vehicle trailers, bodywork, fabrication and welding . The Role You'll be involved in the fitting, repair and modification of commercial vehicle trailers and associated equipment, carrying out work to a high standard and ensuring vehicles are safe and ready for use. Duties will include: Fitting and repairing commercial vehicle trailers MIG welding and general fabrication Trailer body repairs and modifications Working with steel and aluminium components Removing, fitting and replacing damaged components Carrying out structural repairs where required Reading drawings and working to specifications Using workshop tools and fabrication equipment Inspecting completed work to ensure a high-quality finish Working safely and efficiently within a busy workshop What We're Looking For We're interested in candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas: Commercial vehicle / trailer fitting Trailer repair and maintenance Vehicle body repair MIG welding Fabrication Structural steelwork HGV or commercial vehicle bodywork Trailer manufacturing or repair You don't necessarily need experience in every area β strong welding/fabrication experience combined with a willingness to learn could also be considered. Pay Β£14.50βΒ£17.00 per hour , depending on experience and skill level.
