Interaction Engineering Mechanical Fitter – Join a Growing Team Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Mechanical Fitter to join their skilled engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a well-established company delivering high-quality mechanical installation, maintenance, and repair services across a range of industrial environments. Key Responsibilities Assemble, install, and fit mechanical components and equipment. Carry out maintenance, repairs, and fault-finding on machinery and plant equipment. Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation. Ensure all work is completed to high-quality standards and within project deadlines. Conduct inspections and testing of mechanical systems. Follow health and safety procedures at all times. Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other trades on site. Requirements Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter, Maintenance Fitter, or similar role. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Strong mechanical fault-finding and problem-solving skills. Experience working with pumps, conveyors, motors, gearboxes, or similar industrial equipment. Relevant engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, Apprenticeship, or equivalent preferred). Full UK driving licence (if required for the role). Strong commitment to health and safety practices. Desirable Skills Welding and fabrication experience. Experience in manufacturing, processing, utilities, or heavy industry environments.
