Specialist contractor delivering works on a renewable energy / biogas installation site, are currently recruiting for an experienced Coded TIG Welder to join a specialist project team working on a biogas facility. This role is based on an active construction site for a contractor operating within a highly specialised sector of the energy and infrastructure industry. This is a great opportunity for skilled welders looking for well-paid site work on a technically interesting project, with the potential for ongoing opportunities for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out coded TIG welding on site to required specifications
- Working with stainless and process pipework commonly used in energy / industrial installations
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and welding procedures (WPS)
- Ensuring all welding work meets quality and inspection standards
- Working safely within a live construction environment
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and site safety
Requirements:
- Valid TIG welding coding certificates (in date)
- CSCS Card essential
- Proven experience working as a site welder on construction or industrial projects
- Ability to read fabrication drawings and welding documentation
- Strong understanding of site health and safety
Desirable (not essential):
- MEWP / IPAF ticket
- Experience working on energy, process plant, or specialist infrastructure projects
