Job Description Interaction Engineering CNC Machinist Setter/Operator \n Salary: £27,851 - £34,278 per annum (DOE) + 15% Shift Allowance \n Our client is looking for an experienced CNC Machinist Setter/Operator with conventional machining experience to join their growing precision engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a well-established manufacturer producing high-quality precision components within a modern and supportive production environment. \n If you have experience programming, setting and operating CNC machinery, along with manual milling and/or turning skills, we'd like to hear from you. The Role \n As a CNC Machinist Setter/Operator, you will be responsible for producing precision-engineered metal components to tight tolerances. Working within the production team, you'll programme, set and operate CNC machining centres while also carrying out conventional machining duties where required. \n You'll report directly to the PM Production Supervisor and work alongside an experienced team committed to delivering quality products. Key Responsibilities \n \n Programme CNC machines using G-code or CAM software (such as Siemens, EdgeCAM or similar). \n Set, prepare and operate CNC machining centres. \n Produce high-quality precision components to engineering drawings and specifications. \n Carry out manual machining operations using conventional mills and/or lathes. \n Inspect finished components to ensure they meet quality standards and tolerances. \n Perform machine set-ups, tool changes and basic machine maintenance. \n Work efficiently to meet production deadlines while maintaining exceptional quality. \n What We're Looking For \n \n Minimum of 2 years' experience within a manufacturing or precision engineering environment. \n Experience programming, setting and operating CNC machinery. \n Manual machining experience using conventional mills and/or lathes. \n Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. \n Flexible, reliable and a strong team player. \n Working Hours \n PM Shift (37.5 hours per week) \n \n Monday to Wednesday: 1:30pm - 11:30pm \n Thursday: 1:30pm - 11:00pm \n Salary & Benefits \n \n £27,851 - £34,278 per annum (depending on experience) \n 15% Shift Allowance \n Permanent, full-time position \n Supportive and collaborative working environment \n Opportunity to develop your skills within a growing engineering business \n Modern manufacturing facility and varied workload \n \n If you're an experienced CNC Machinist looking for your next opportunity within a precision engineering environment, apply today to be considered. \
