We are currently recruiting for a skilled and motivated Injection Mould Setter to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Yaxley, Peterborough.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team where you'll play a key role in ensuring production runs efficiently, maintaining quality standards, and minimising downtime.
An established UK manufacturing business is seeking an experienced Injection Mould Tool Maintenance Engineer to support its plastic manufacturing operations.
This is a hands-on role focused on maintaining and improving injection mould tools to ensure safe operation, consistent product quality, and high production uptime.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform planned maintenance on injection mould tools.
- Prepare and ensure mould tools are in optimal condition for production.
- Liaise with the processing team to identify and resolve tooling issues.
- Investigate faults, determine root causes, and communicate findings effectively.
- Maintain spare parts and equipment to minimise downtime and reduce repair times.
Skills & Experience
- Completed a recognised toolmaker apprenticeship (or equivalent) with experience in injection mould tooling.
- Experience in manual machining, including milling, turning (lathes), and surface grinding.
- Strong bench fitting skills.
- Experience supporting production tooling, including breakdown response and TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) activities.
