Location: Honiton

Pay: £14.00 – £16.00 per hour

Hours:

  • Monday to Thursday: 08:00 – 17:00
  • Friday: 08:00 – 15:30

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role

Our client is looking for a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join their busy factory team. The ideal candidate will be flexible, energetic, and proactive in supporting welding and fabrication requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • General fabrication: cutting, drilling, sawing, and metal work
  • Reading and working from drawings accurately
  • Operating equipment safely and following procedures
  • Keeping work areas clean and safe
  • Reporting defects promptly
  • Supporting other teams when required

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 1 year TIG welding experience
  • Competent in TIG/MIG welding and sheet metal work
  • Ability to read machine drawings accurately
  • Good communication and attention to detail
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Experience with hand tools is an advantage
