You'll play a key role in ensuring plastic packaging products are inspected, packed and prepared to meet exact customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect products directly from the production line for defects.
  • Pack correct quantities into boxes according to customer requirements.
  • Immediately notify setters of any quality concerns.
  • Stack packed boxes safely onto pallets.
  • Wrap pallets securely for storage or dispatch.
  • Maintain a keen eye for detail to ensure only high-quality products leave the line.
  • Follow all quality and hygiene management procedures.
  • Operate packing equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Follow a “clean as you go” approach to maintain a tidy workspace.
  • Adhere strictly to Health & Safety procedures and PPE requirements.
  • Ensure accurate pallet labelling.
  • Complete all required production and quality documentation correctly.

Shift Pattern

3-week rotating shift pattern: Mornings 06:00-14:00, Afternoons 14:00-22:00, Nights 22:00-06:00. Flexibility is essential as part of this rotating schedule.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in high-volume manufacturing, FMCG or fresh produce (preferred).
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding role (bending, turning, lifting).
  • Strong attention to detail in a high-speed environment.
  • Team player, comfortable working across multiple machines.
  • Valid FLT licence (advantageous but not essential).
