HGV Class 1 Night Shunter Crawley Location: Crawley, West Sussex Pay: Competitive PAYE rate, with enhanced rates for night hours and overtime Shift: Night shift Contract: Ongoing / Temp-to-Perm opportunity We are currently recruiting on behalf of my client , a well-established logistics operation in the Crawley area, who are looking to add experienced HGV Class 1 Night Shunters to their transport team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Class 1 driver who prefers working within a busy depot environment rather than spending the majority of their shift out on the road. Positioning vehicles ready for loading, unloading and onward movement Completing relevant paperwork and digital records accurately A valid HGV Class 1 / Category C+E licence Relevant Class 1 driving experience A valid Digital Tachograph Card The ability to work night shifts reliably Previous shunting or yard experience would be advantageous, although experienced Class 1 drivers with strong reversing and manoeuvring skills will also be considered.
