The Opportunity:
Seeking a self-employed Site Manager who has a strong background in delivering high-end new builds. The client is based in Bournemouth and operates several projects in the Dorset and Hampshire regions.
The Role:
- Producing method statements.
- Weekly management reports.
- Monitor progress of the project in accordance with programme.
- Pre-start meetings and health and safety plans.
- Undertake a site safety induction of all new site personnel.
- Liaise with the materials controller ensuring material deliveries are in accordance with the build programme.
- The management of the work carried out by the sub-contractors.
The Person:
- You must have detailed building and construction experience.
- CSCS card.
- SMSTS.
- First Aid qualified.
- Computer literate.
- Ability to read drawings.
- Ideally from a trade background - Brick/Stone/Masonry would be preferred.
- Good eye for detail and passionate about construction.
Desirable Criteria:
- Degree/HND/HNC in Construction or a related subject.
- Experience working for a developer or contractor.
