We are currently working on behalf of a reputable construction firm known for delivering high-quality commercial and residential projects. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Carpentry Foreman to lead their on-site carpentry team and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate carpentry crews on-site
- Interpret blueprints, plans, and schedules to guide carpentry work
- Ensure work is completed safely and in compliance with building codes and company standards
- Manage materials, tools, and equipment on-site
- Liaise with site managers, subcontractors, and other trades
- Provide hands-on carpentry support where required
- Maintain accurate records of work progress and site conditions
- Train and mentor junior carpenters
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter Foreman or Senior Carpenter
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Must be reliable, punctual, and a team player
- Valid drivers license and own transport preferred
- SSSTS or SMSTS certified.
