Position: Turning Cell Leader
Reporting To: Machine Shop Manager
Working Hours: 08:00 β 16:30 (Friday 15:30), with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break and a 15-minute paid tea break. Overtime may be available.
Salary: Β£18.00 per hour
Holiday Entitlement: 25 days plus Bank Holidays

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, program, set, and operate CNC machines for turning and drilling operations
- Load raw materials and parts onto machines efficiently
- Inspect and measure finished products against specifications
- Conduct daily checks and maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance
- Adhere to all Health and Safety regulations and company standards
- Maintain compliance with ISO 9001 standards
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience in CNC setting and programming, especially with Fanuc/G-code
- Skilled in using precision measuring equipment
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and engineering documentation
- Strong mechanical aptitude and good mathematical skills
- Excellent communication skills
- A team player with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines
