Working Hours: Monday to Wednesday: 07:30 – 16:30, Thursday: 07:30 – 16:00, Friday: 07:30 – 13:00

We are a well-established foundry business, with over 100 years of history. Our team is professional, customer-focused, and collaborative, and we aim to maintain our position as a global leader in heat treatment furnace equipment. We are currently seeking experienced CNC Mill Setters to join our busy Machine Shop on day shifts. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and operating 2, 3, and 3+2 axis milling machines, producing small to medium batch runs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC milling machines (programming experience is a plus but not essential).
- Inspect finished parts using various measuring tools and conduct first-off inspections on other machines.
- Adjust machine settings confidently with minimal supervision.
- Maintain tooling and replace inserts as needed.
- Carry out deburring operations as specified.
- Perform basic maintenance on machinery.
- Operate overhead cranes (training provided).
Requirements & Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience operating CNC milling machines with Fanuc and Heidenhain controls.
- Ability to work independently and within a small team.
- Understanding of technical drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Strong problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
