Why?
Because at Interact we treat everyone with the same respect and honesty.
Whether you’re a developer fresh out of college or a seasoned salesperson, we live the motto that we uphold for our customers: our people are our most valuable assets.
We are currently looking a Head of Product Management, who will lead and develop our Product team, helping turn product strategy into meaningful customer and commercial outcomes across a complex and evolving platform.
This is a deeply hands-on leadership role, you will stay close to the product and the teams' day-to-day work, developing the depth of knowledge needed to provide active, informed oversight.
You will continuously review plans, progress, evidence, risks, and decisions rather than relying solely on headline status updates.
Using strong product judgment, you will independently test whether work is genuinely on track, identify emerging problems early, and intervene constructively before they become late-stage surprises.
When needed, you will get into the weeds, diagnose what is happening, and work alongside teams to remove blockers and restore momentum.
In this role you will shape how product management operates across the business: developing the capability and confidence of the Product Management team, embedding strong discovery and evidence-led decision-making, establishing how outcomes are defined and measured, and strengthening collaboration across Product, Engineering, Quality, and commercial teams.
Working closely with the VP of Product and Engineering leadership, you will contribute to product strategy and own its translation into priorities, plans, investment decisions, and measurable outcomes.
You will balance customer insight, data, commercial context, technical considerations, and delivery realities while championing the thoughtful use of AI to enhance product capabilities and ways of working.
Success will be measured by the strength and development of the Product team, the quality and clarity of product decisions, and the customer and commercial outcomes delivered across the platform.
A Little About You...
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Product Managers as a hands-on player-coach, staying close to the products and teams' work while giving people the support and autonomy to succeed
- Translate product strategy into clear priorities and measurable customer and commercial outcomes
- Guide Product Managers to define valuable customer problems, test assumptions, and use evidence to make confident product decisions
- Own prioritisation and trade-off decisions across the portfolio, balancing customer value, commercial impact, effort, quality, and strategic fit
- Ensure initiatives have a clear problem statement, intended outcome, success measures, and appropriate level of discovery before significant investment
- Partner with Engineering leadership to understand technical complexity, evaluate trade-offs, and make balanced decisions about value, quality, risk, and investment
- Maintain active oversight across the portfolio by regularly reviewing plans, progress, evidence, risks, and dependencies; independently validate whether work is genuinely on track and address issues early rather than waiting for escalation
- Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring customer insight, data, and commercial context inform product decisions
- Provide senior leaders with concise, transparent updates on product outcomes, priorities, progress, risks, and decisions
- Promote a sustainable and effective delivery rhythm that balances momentum with discovery, quality, and long-term product health
- Continuously improve product-management standards, tools, and ways of working so the function can operate effectively as it grows
- Encourage responsible experimentation with modern technology, including AI, where it can create meaningful value for customers or improve product practice
About the role...
- Proven experience leading, coaching, and developing Product Managers
- Demonstrable ability to build deep product and domain knowledge quickly and operate credibly at both portfolio and detailed product level
- A track record of using strong product judgment and hands-on review to identify risks or delivery concerns that were not visible in headline reporting
- Experience working in B2B Saa S or another complex product environment, such as enterprise or multi-tenant software
- A track record of leading across a varied portfolio and managing competing priorities
- Evidence of delivering measurable customer and business outcomes, not solely product outputs
- Strong product judgment across discovery, prioritisation, planning, and delivery
- Experience partnering effectively with Engineering leadership and senior commercial and operational stakeholders Experience operating with autonomy in a high-ownership, evolving environment
- Strong understanding of product strategy, discovery, prioritisation, planning, and outcome-led delivery at scale
- Understanding of product metrics and how to connect customer behaviour and product performance to commercial outcomes
- Solid technical grounding, with the ability to engage credibly in discussions about architecture, complexity, risk, and trade-offs
- Ability to balance customer insight, data, commercial priorities, and technical considerations in decision-making
- Knowledge of effective cross-functional collaboration across Product, Engineering, Quality, and commercial teams
- Familiarity with modern product tooling and the responsible application of AI to product capabilities and ways of working
- An empowering and supportive people leader who sets clear expectations and helps others perform at their best
- An accomplished product practitioner who sets the standard for product craft and can step credibly into complex work when required
- Constructively sceptical and evidence-led: trusts and empowers the team, but verifies progress through direct engagement with the work rather than accepting status updates at face value
- A strong decision-maker with sound product judgment, comfortable navigating ambiguity and competing priorities
- Comfortable moving between the bigger picture and the detail, and willing to get into the weeds when the situation requires it
- Proactive and self-directed, with the judgment to resolve issues independently and escalation material risks appropriately
- A clear and confident communicator who can align technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Customer-focused and commercially curious, with a genuine interest in understanding problems and measuring impact
- Collaborative and low-ego, focused on team, customer, and product success over individual recognition
