What you’ll be doing:
- Produce accurate monthly financial accounts and meet reporting deadlines.
- Complete key balance sheet reconciliations (payroll, pensions, accruals, prepayments, fixed assets).
- Maintain the Fixed Asset Register and manage depreciation.
- Ensure timely submission and payment of VAT, Corporation Tax, and PAYE.
- Deliver detailed monthly P&L reporting across campaigns, clients, and sites.
- Analyse cost variances, highlight trends, and support operational teams with forecasting.
- Present clear, insightful management accounts to senior stakeholders.
- Maintain weekly cashflow forecasts to support short‑term planning.
- Manage supplier payments and aged debtors.
- Work with client payment teams to ensure invoices are settled promptly.
- Support the annual budgeting process alongside the Financial Controller.
- Review monthly performance against budget and produce variance analysis.
- Summarise business contracts and assist with renewals.
- Provide cover for the Payroll Manager and contribute to ad‑hoc projects, including the implementation of a new HR & Payroll system in 2026.
What you’ll bring:

- Strong grounding in financial and management accounting.
