We've recently secured approval to support a UK Government organisation that has successfully used a service design-led approach to uncover user needs, solve complex problems, and launch new digital services.
Following this success, they are looking for a Service Designer to help shape and mature their service design capability.
You'll join a multidisciplinary team of UX consultants, service designers, digital innovation consultants, project managers, solution architects, visual designers and developers.
They have a strong track record of delivering award-winning digital services that meet Government Digital Service (GDS) standards.
You will: Play a key role in growing an established service design practice.
Take ideas from discovery through to delivery, supported by an experienced in-house technology team.
Enjoy real autonomy, working directly with senior stakeholders and civil servants from day one.
Help solve meaningful public sector challenges and shape new digital services.
You'll have experience across the service design lifecycle, including user research, ethnography, workshop facilitation, journey mapping, ideation and high-level prototyping.
A background in interaction or UX design is also welcome if you've developed strong research and service design skills.
