Overview: A Head of Engineering with a genuine passion for technology, leading teams of teams, as well as playing a key part in the delivery of cutting-edge products required ASAP. Remote working (UK) with once a quarter in person team collaboration days. £140-150k base salary, bonus, generous pension, holiday, healthcare plus much more on offer. Tech stack here is Java, Node, React, Azure, Microservices, Ci/CD, Scrum etc.
Responsibilities: As Head of Software Engineering and reporting directly into the CTO, your job is to make sure the multidisciplinary software engineering teams have everything they need to deliver a fantastic product to customers and clients, and that everyone understands the product roadmap and business objectives. That means aligning architecture and technology roadmaps and ensuring we’re building the right features and capabilities at the right time.
A seasoned Engineering Manager who has plentiful experience of:
- Managing managers (tech leads and Engineering managers) and therefore management of teams of teams is key.
- Experience of working in high growth fast paced scale up environment.
