We are seeking a Data Platform Engineer to design and build a modern enterprise data platform using Microsoft Fabric. You will play a key role in architecting a secure, scalable and high-performance cloud environment that enables advanced analytics and data-driven decision making. This is a hybrid role with 1 day a week in the Milton Keynes office.

You will:

  • Design and deliver a cloud-native data platform in Microsoft Fabric.
  • Build and optimise data pipelines, lakehouse/warehouse solutions and semantic models.
  • Implement Platform as Code (terraform) and CI/CD practices.
  • Ensure security, governance, monitoring and performance optimisation.
  • Lead incident resolution and continuous platform improvement.

Essential Skills

  • Proven experience building enterprise cloud data platforms.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft Fabric and Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Experience with Agile delivery and modern data architecture principles.
  • Ability to support and integrate legacy and modern technologies.
