My client, who are a government funded organisation, working within the public sector are looking for an additional User Experience Research Consultant to come in and work initially on a 12 week basis fully remote. You Must have had experience of working alongside Gov.uk, please do not apply if this is not the case!

You will be a User Experience (UX) Research specialist that is passionate about research, user centered design, and building great products. An advocate of rapid iterative testing during development and upfront product discovery research. You will have created and led UX Research processes and strategy within an agile development environment, whilst working across multiple teams and platforms. From lab based testing, diary studies, in-depth interviews, user groups, or remote evaluations, you will bring the right set of tools to solve the problem/answer the questions.

Working closely with design and development teams to ensure the UX specification is successfully translated into visual design and code you must offer 3-4 years\’ experience working at an Agency or client-side doing user research, quantitive and qualitative research, or usability roles.

The researcher would be consulting alongside a UX team of 2 designers, one junior researcher and two Front End developers and within a mature delivery team. You need to be highly experienced, able to lead on research planning and focussed on research rather than design.
