We are seeking a SQL Server DBA to join our IT Systems Integration team. This role will expand an already established team of DBAs, Engineers, and Analysts. You will work alongside talented professionals who are committed to leveraging the latest technologies. The role requires meticulous attention to detail and an analytical mindset. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead T-SQL development initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with IT Development teams and Production DBAs to troubleshoot production systems.
- Work within the Infrastructure & Architecture team as a SQL Developer.
- Manage SQL performance enhancement projects across the group.
- Understand the architecture of in-house applications.
- Coordinate with third parties to resolve issues with bespoke systems.
- Enforce group security controls and best practices.
- Document and implement all SQL configuration changes.
- Assist DBAs with SQL-related issues.
- Develop data collection processes.
Skills Required:
- Excellent knowledge of T-SQL and SQL development best practices.
- Minimum of 5 yearsβ experience as a SQL Developer.
- Proficient in the full Microsoft SQL Server stack, including SSAS, SSIS, and SSRS.
- Experience with automation deployment tools such as Azure DevOps and Octopus Deploy.
- Knowledge of IT operations best practices in an always-on, High Availability Disaster Recovery (HADR) environment.
