About the Role
We are a dynamic fintech company looking for an experienced Senior Mobile Software Engineer to join our growing team. You will have the opportunity to shape the future of our mobile products, working on innovative solutions that empower our customers and drive business success. This is a fully remote position, with just one day per month required in our London office (travel to be arranged and paid by the individual). You will collaborate with talented engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver world-class mobile experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality mobile applications for both Android and iOS platforms.
- Own the full application development lifecycle, from architecture to deployment and beyond.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure code quality through rigorous code reviews, test-driven development (TDD), and robust CI/CD practices.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience building and maintaining mobile applications on both Android and iOS.
- Expertise in Kotlin (Android) and Swift (iOS) development.
- Strong understanding of native mobile application architecture and design patterns.
- Experience with test-driven development (TDD) and automated testing frameworks.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and collaborative development tools (e.g., Git, JIRA).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with cross-platform frameworks (e.g., React Native, Flutter) is a plus.
- Knowledge of modern mobile security best practices.
