Contract Product Manager - Inside IR35 - up to £500 per day 12‑month contract | Mainly remote (UK‑based)
We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to join our end client's exciting new SaaS platform launch, starting as soon as possible on an initial 12‑month contract. This role is inside IR35 and offers a mainly remote working arrangement, with occasional client collaboration days as required.
The Opportunity
You will play a pivotal role in shaping, delivering, and evolving a cutting‑edge SaaS product built from the ground up—guided by a proven MVP and informed by industry best practice. Working closely with the CTO, Product Owner, and cross‑functional teams across design and engineering, you will define product features, drive user experience improvements, and ensure every release aligns with business goals and customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the product strategy and roadmap, collaborating with partners and prospective customers to shape workflows and transaction flows.
- Gather and prioritise requirements from stakeholder input, analytics, and user feedback.
- Translate business objectives into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria each sprint.
- Partner with UX and UI teams to create intuitive, user‑centric experiences.
- Guide backlog prioritisation and sequencing to deliver high‑quality features on time.
- Collaborate with UX Research to monitor feature performance, gather insights, and iterate effectively.
- Maintain product visibility, acting as the key liaison for business and customer queries on product direction, scope, and delivery.
- Identify risks or issues early, recommending clear paths forward to maintain momentum.
Skills & Experience
- 5+ years' experience as a Product Manager, ideally in a SaaS or digital platform environment.
- Strong background in Agile delivery, with proficiency in Jira, Confluence, Miro, and Figma.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to simplify complexity.
- Analytical, data‑driven mindset with proven use of product analytics to inform decisions.
- Background or familiarity with Bill of Quantities, Bill of Materials, BIM models, or construction‑related estimation tools is a strong advantage.
- A high‑quality degree or equivalent experience, with the ability to operate confidently at senior stakeholder level.
