  • Implement and enforce Azure security controls and policies
  • Lead platform security initiatives across Azure environments
  • Contribute to observability, alerting, and Site Reliability Engineering practices
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver resilient and scalable solutions

Security & Platform Focus Areas

  • Analyse WAF rules, manage false positives, and work with stakeholders to refine policies
  • Define and enforce Azure Policies for consistent firewall and network security standards
  • Secure AKS environments, including container scanning, alerting, and remediation
  • Transition from Azure security defaults to structured Conditional Access policies with staged rollout
  • Implement Entra ID P2 controls for risky sign-ins, including monitoring and alerting
  • Secure CI/CD pipelines through network restrictions and managed identities
  • Audit and respond to risky sign-ins and identity threats
  • Analyse and remediate Microsoft Defender high and critical vulnerabilities
  • Implement and manage Azure Sentinel for security monitoring and auditing
  • Consolidate security auditing into unified reporting frameworks

Required Skills & Experience

  • HashiCorp Terraform certification and proven expertise in Terraform
  • Kubernetes certification and experience with AKS
  • Deep understanding of DevOps and platform engineering principles
  • Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices
  • Experience with observability, monitoring, and SRE concepts

Why Apply

  • Work with a mission-driven, highly respected health tech organisation
  • Modern cloud environment with cutting-edge tooling
