Principal Front End Software Engineer with a passion for code, architecture, best practice, and a huge believer in driving what quality engineering looks like required by health tech success story. Working remotely (within UK only) with in person engineering get togethers quarterly (London), we are looking for a vastly experienced Front End (JavaScript) Senior Engineer (15+ years experience) who has a wealth of expertise (and war scars to prove).
Tech stack is JavaScript, Typescript, React, Azure, SQL, Microservices etc but real key here is someone who relishes tackling and solving engineering problems and more importantly, loves what they do!
£90-100k base salary, generous bonus, great pension, 27 days holiday (plus bank holidays), healthcare plus much more on offer. What you’ll do:
- Drive architectural decisions and engineering practice improvements
- Be a technical expert building and delivering front-end solutions
- Create a front-end technical & architectural strategy defining the technologies and frameworks to meet the business needs
- Design and develop high performance and high availability applications, using proven frameworks and technologies
- Lead by example writing JavaScript/Typescript code whilst coaching and mentoring our other software engineers
- Stay up to date with industry best practice and ensure we have clear plans in place to adopt necessary technology and framework changes
- Focus on building highly maintainable, reusable, scalable and reliable code
- Work with the engineering managers to build and manage delivery plans
