We are seeking an experienced Contract Automation QA Engineer to join a high-performing Agile team, working on the design and delivery of robust testing solutions across modern cloud-based systems.

Role Overview

  • Design, communicate, and implement effective test strategies and approaches
  • Collaborate with Tech Leads to understand requirements and define test coverage
  • Develop and contribute to automated testing frameworks (functional and non-functional)
  • Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and validate fixes
  • Produce clear, concise test reports demonstrating product quality
  • Communicate progress, risks, and issues to key stakeholders including Delivery Managers and Architects
  • Act as the primary QA representative within an Agile team, promoting a “whole team” approach to quality
  • Establish and drive QA best practices within the team

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience in automated RESTful API testing
  • Proven experience working in Agile environments
  • Hands-on experience with CI tools such as Jenkins
  • Strong advocacy for quality engineering principles and best practices
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience resolving cross-team issues
  • Solid programming knowledge and coding best practices
  • Technical expertise in JavaScript, Java, RestAssured, and Cucumber
  • Strong experience with Gatling and Scala
  • Experience with AWS services (e.g. Lambda, DynamoDB, CloudWatch) and AWS SDK

Desirable Skills

  • Automated UI testing experience
  • Familiarity with frameworks such as Node.js and Playwright
  • Experience with contract testing tools such as PACT or Karate
  • Understanding of security testing principles
