We're looking for a Fully Remote AWS Cloud Engineer to join a global platform provider for enterprise, government, and public sector organisations. Backed by private equity and expanding through both organic growth and acquisitions, it's an exciting time to join our client.
You'll be part of a team shaping the future of our clients cloud platform, helping organisations around the world build better learning experiences. This role is fully remote, open to candidates based anywhere within the UK, and offers a salary of up to £60,000.
As part of the Technical Services team, you'll play a key role in designing, building, and evolving the cloud infrastructure. You'll be solving complex challenges, improving performance and resilience, and helping to deliver a secure, highly automated platform.
Day to day, you'll be working across AWS services like EC2, EKS, RDS, S3, and WAF, building and maintaining infrastructure using Terraform, and developing scalable solutions with Kubernetes in production environments. You'll also collaborate closely with teams across the business, translating technical concepts into clear communication for a range of stakeholders.
We're looking for someone with:
- AWS experience
- Solid Linux knowledge
- Hands-on expertise in infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD pipelines
- Comfortable working with databases, Git workflows, and DevOps principles, with a focus on security and reliability
Experience with multi-tenant SaaS platforms, monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana, or scripting in Python or Bash would be a bonus, but not essential. Somebody who has come from an infrastructure support role and transitioned into DevOps over the past 18 months will also be considered.
In return, our client offers a supportive and flexible working environment, along with a great benefits package. This includes enhanced parental leave, private healthcare, life insurance at 4x salary, a wellbeing allowance, and a home office setup budget for new joiners.
