What We’re Looking For
- Fluent in Japanese and English—exceptional verbal and written communication abilities in both.
- 1+ years in B2B business development or sales preferred but not necessary — preferably in market research, automation, robotics, or industrial sectors — within the Japanese market.
- Proven track record of generating growth through strategic outreach, negotiation, and relationship management.
- Strong cultural awareness and adaptability to work effectively within Japanese (and ideally South Korean) business norms.
- Willingness to travel internationally, including Japan and possibly within APAC.
Nice to have attributes (but not essential)
- Familiarity with intelligent automation, robotics, industrial supply chains, or commercial vehicles.
- Existing Japanese business network or previous client success stories.
- Knowledge of APAC market trends in automation and digital transformation.

- Collaborative Culture: Be part of a team that values integrity, attention to detail, analytical thinking, and continuous learning.
- Opportunity for Impact: Shape and lead our entry into one of the most dynamic markets in APAC – your efforts will directly influence company growth and presence.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with one-hour lunch break. Some flexible hours required to work in line with APAC time zones which may result in late evening and early morning work hours, to be discussed.
Compensation and Benefits
- Starting salary of £40,000-£50,000 depending on experience
- Possible hybrid working (3 days office, 2 days remote)
- Competitive benefits package, including private healthcare, discounted gym membership, electric car scheme, and other perks
- Employer that respects and promotes a healthy work-life balance
