The predicted salary is between 13 - 16 £ per hour.
We are looking for an experienced wood machinist to load/offload our CNC machine within the Workshop. Programmes are downloaded to the machine and we require an enthusiastic operator to offload, number & palletise kitchen components, some of which will require edging on the edge bander.
Responsibilities
- Machine Operation: Loading materials, starting programmes & monitoring the process
- Setup & Calibration: Setting speeds, feeds & tolerances
- Quality Control: Checking finished parts are within acceptable & agreed standards
- Maintenance: Performing routine cleaning & basic maintenance
- Troubleshooting: Making minor adjustments & reporting issues to the programmers
Skills / Qualifications
- Understanding of machining processes
- Ability to read & interpret technical drawings
- Attention to detail for quality; we offer a twice yearly quality bonus
Compensation
The hourly rate will depend on experience & will be discussed at interview stage.
