What We OfferThe start date of employment will be: June 2025. This role has a starting salary of £26,400 per annum; final offer will be made based on skills and experience. Full-time: 39 hours working 5 days per week. Shifts will be flexible to accommodate store projects and will include occasional night shifts and weekend work. Due to health and safety guidelines, applicants must be 18 years of age or older.

- Experience working as a Visual Merchandiser in retail.
- Knowledge of design software such as Autodesk REVIT, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office is essential.
- An interest in home furnishings, design, and understanding how people live, with the ability to generate new ideas to inspire customers.
- A practical approach, comfortable working with various hand tools, and at heights.
- A collaborative approach, encouraging feedback from stakeholders and taking relevant actions.
- Using visual merchandising skills to showcase the IKEA identity through range presentation solutions in the store, considering store layout, range presentation, and vitality.
- Understanding the local market to plan and implement relevant, inspiring, affordable, and commercial range presentation solutions that reflect diverse styles and meet customer expectations.
- Collaborating with the Commercial & In team and other functions to exploit commercial opportunities and understand the impact on financial results.
- Working with the commercial calendar to implement range changes.
