IKEA Oxford Street is looking to welcome a Store Assistant to our team. Bring your commitment to great customer service to IKEA Oxford Street as a Store Assistant, where you’ll focus on customer service and selling, keeping our most-loved products available and ensuring shelves are always full, tidy, and ready to inspire every shopper who walks through our doors.
What we offer
- Start date: 20th June
- Competitive hourly rate of £14.80 per hour
- Working 12, 20, or 24 hours per week across 2 to 4 days, including day shift, evening shift, and 3 out of 4 weekends per month

Day‑to‑day activities
- You provide an inspirational shopping experience for our customers working across various departments throughout the day, supporting customers to find the right solutions for their life at home
- You are interested in the range, curious to learn the stories behind the products and their design, and keen to share this with our customers
- You support maximising sales by ensuring your areas of responsibility are clean, fully stocked, all products priced, well presented and easy to shop. Some products may involve heavy lifting
- You’ll work with ladders and at height, following safety procedures to ensure efficient replenishment and maintaining high standards across the shop floor
