IKEA Southampton are looking to welcome Food and Beverage Assistants to join our team. Imagine stepping into the vibrant, bustling environment of our IKEA Southampton store, where every day is a new adventure! Working in IKEA Food means you'll get to interact with a diverse range of guests, serve up our famous delicious meatballs, and be at the heart of a fast‑paced atmosphere. These are 16‑hour a week contracts. Availability is required to work full weekends and shifts during the week, including weekday evenings from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

What You'll Need to Have
  • Previous food and customer service experience is beneficial but candidates who are ready to be actively involved are welcome
  • Ability to handle a busy and active work setting
  • Organized, motivated, and ready to work as part of a team
  • Detail‑oriented and remain organized when busy
  • Compliance with health and safety guidelines; applicants must be 18 years of age or older
What You'll Be Doing Day to Day
  • Serve food, take payments at tills, clean and clear the area, and work behind the scenes to prepare food
  • Customer focused: create a memorable experience, listen, act, and fulfill expectations every day
  • Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed for a secure environment for customers and co‑workers
  • Collaborate with coworkers to enhance a positive work atmosphere and create an effective team
