What You’ll Need to Have

  • Previous food and customer service experience is beneficial but not required; readiness to be actively involved in the work.
  • Ability to work in an extremely fast-paced environment.
  • Self-reliant and motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passionate about maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  • Ability to remain organised and detail-oriented, even when things get busy.
  • Compliance with health and safety guidelines; applicants must be 18 years of age or older.

What You’ll Be Doing Day to Day

  • Prepare, cook, and serve food; clean the Swedish Food Market & Bistro; serve on the bistro till, following health & safety standards.
  • Customer focused; create the best customer experience by listening, acting and exceeding expectations every day.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements, including removal of facial and ear piercings while on duty.
  • Support colleagues, lend a hand, and create a positive work environment.
  • Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene.
  • Handle all manual handling safely.

What We Offer

  • Start date: 5th July 2026.
  • Competitive hourly rate of £13.45 per hour.
  • 12 hours weekly, working 3 days out of 7 and 3 out of 4 weekends.
  • Working hours between 8am and 9:30pm.
  • Flexibility can be discussed to match your life and the business needs during the interview.
  • Background checks required for all successful candidates; final offers contingent upon clear results.
  • Medical questionnaire required.
