IKEA Birmingham is looking to welcome Food and Beverage Assistants to join our friendly and hardworking team.
Role Description: Working as a Food Co-worker at IKEA involves preparing meals, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and providing excellent customer service to create a memorable dining experience.
What We Offer
- Start Date: 21st June 2025
- Competitive hourly rate of £12.60
- 12 and 16-hour contracts, working 3-4 days a week, including dayshifts, weekends, and up to 2 late evenings per week. All contracts will have every 4th weekend off.

What You\’ll Need
- Experience in food service or customer service is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is key.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-reliant, motivated, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Organised and detail-oriented, even during busy times.
- Applicants must be over 18 due to health and safety regulations.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Serving food, taking payments, cleaning, and food prep.
- Focusing on customer experience, exceeding expectations.
- Following safety protocols for a secure environment.
- Supporting colleagues and fostering a positive team environment.
