What is the opportunity?

As a member of Credit Middle, you will be providing quality support on assessing & monitoring credit risk on EUCB1's portfolio. Strong communication skills are essential as you will be communicating with various parties inside and outside the department as a mediator. The team is responsible for managing and submitting various reports related to credit risk and the bank and regulators' policies, so attention to detail, time management skills, and basic Microsoft Office skills are also required.

What will you be doing?

  • Preparing due date management reports to support Credit Analysts and Relationship Managers.
  • Preparing various reports to submit to Head Office and MD(GM).
  • Managing original documents.
  • Providing checks and approvals on various applications such as Credit Applications.
  • Coordinating and monitoring KYC regular review process.
  • Creating or updating new or existing procedures if necessary.
  • Taking care of any ad hoc duties.
  • Monitoring covenants.
  • Complying with various regulations related to banking business.
  • Complying with internal policies and procedures.

What do you need to succeed?

  • Ability to demonstrate knowledge of commercial banking is essential.
  • Fluency in English and Japanese.
  • Very good organisational and time management skills.
  • Very good communication skills – both written and oral.
