MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:
The Marketing Executive will play a key role in supporting the Marketing Manager and wider team to deliver effective marketing activities that promote Intelsius’ brand, products, and services. The role will provide day-to-day support across a range of functions including administrative tasks, event planning and delivery, internal communications, email marketing, digital marketing, content creation and social media management. Acting as a central point of coordination, the Marketing Executive will ensure smooth execution of marketing initiatives, helping to drive engagement, maintain brand consistency, and contribute to the overall success of the company’s marketing strategy.
RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Support to Marketing Manager
- Provide day-to-day assistance to the Marketing Manager across all marketing activities and projects.
- Coordinate tasks, track deadlines, and ensure smooth delivery of campaigns and initiatives.
- Assist in the creation and proofreading of marketing materials and content.
- Liaise with external suppliers (e.g., designers, printers, event organisers) to deliver marketing projects.
- Contribute ideas to improve marketing processes, campaigns, and customer engagement.
- Maintain files, databases, reporting etc.
- Event Planning & Delivery
- Support the planning, coordination, and execution of trade shows, conferences, and company events.
- Handle logistics, manage materials, and coordinate with the Marketing Manager to ensure timely delivery of assets.
- Ensure brand consistency and professional representation at events.
- Internal Communications
- Draft and distribute internal newsletters, announcements, and updates.
- Work with teams across the business to gather and share relevant content.
- Help ensure consistent and effective communication of company messages.
- Deliver internal events, including Camino and Sea Safari trips.
- Email and Digital Marketing
- Create, schedule, and send email campaigns in line with marketing objectives.
- Support segmentation, targeting, and tracking of email performance.
- Report on key metrics to help optimise future campaigns.
- Support the Marketing Manager to deliver paid digital marketing campaigns.
- Use Google Analytics to monitor performance and report back to the Marketing Manager.
- Social Media Marketing
- Manage day-to-day posting and scheduling across Intelsius’ social media channels.
- Create engaging content aligned with brand tone and strategy.
- Monitor engagement, respond to interactions, and report on performance.
Required Skills, Knowledge & Experience
- Skills/Knowledge
- Strong organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Creative mindset with the ability to generate engaging marketing content.
- Confident user of digital tools and platforms, including LinkedIn, Google Analytics, Google Ads, SEO tools such as SEMrush, Mailchimp etc.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong interpersonal skills, able to build positive working relationships across the business.
- Marketing qualification/s desirable but not essential.
- Experience
- Previous experience in a marketing or communications role (internship, placement year, or entry-level position desirable).
- Experience coordinating or supporting events is advantageous.
- Experience of digital marketing, including tools such as GA4, Google Ads, and SEO tools such as SEMrush.
- Experience creating content for email campaigns and social media platforms such as Mailchimp and LinkedIn.
- Exposure to internal communications and/or employee engagement initiatives would be beneficial.
WORKING HOURS
09.00 – 17.30, Monday to Friday
Some flexibility in working pattern may be available depending upon individual circumstances & business needs.
