Are you an experienced Senior Accountant looking to play a pivotal role in financial operations within a fast-growing AI company? IntelliSense.io is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional to oversee our global bookkeeping functions, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance as we scale our business. What You’ll Do
- Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Oversee bank reconciliations, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded.
- Manage VAT returns and liaise with HMRC and equivalent bodies in Ireland, Germany, and Spain.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes.
- Assist in preparing management reports and financial statements.
- Work closely with external accountants in the UK, Chile, and Australia.
- Implement and improve financial controls and processes to support business growth.
- Support payroll operations and employee expense processing.
- Monitor cash flow and provide financial insights.
What We’re Looking For
Minimum Requirements:
- ~10+ years of experience in bookkeeping or financial accounting at a senior level.
- Strong experience with Xero or similar accounting software.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple financial processes.
- Solid knowledge of UK bookkeeping regulations and VAT compliance.
- Strong Excel skills and familiarity with Google Suite.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a global finance team.
- Willingness to commute to Cambridge regularly.
Preferred:
- AAT qualification or part-qualified ACCA/CIMA.
- Experience in a fast-growing technology or B2B business.
- Strong knowledge of financial process automation and controls.
