What You’ll Do
As a Senior Accountant at IntelliSense.io, you will:
Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.
Oversee bank reconciliations, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded.
Manage VAT returns and liaise with HMRC and equivalent bodies in Ireland, Germany, and Spain.
Support month-end and year-end close processes.
Assist in preparing management reports and financial statements.
Work closely with external accountants in the UK, Chile, and Australia.
Implement and improve financial controls and processes to support business growth.
Support payroll operations and employee expense processing.
Monitor cash flow and provide financial insights.
What We’re Looking For
Minimum Requirements:
10+ years of experience in bookkeeping or financial accounting at a senior level.
Strong experience with Xero or similar accounting software.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple financial processes.
Solid knowledge of UK bookkeeping regulations and VAT compliance.
Strong Excel skills and familiarity with Google Suite.
Ability to work independently while collaborating with a global finance team.
Willingness to commute to Cambridge regularly.
Preferred:
AAT qualification or part-qualified ACCA/CIMA.
Experience in a fast-growing technology or B2B business.
Strong knowledge of financial process automation and controls.
