Intelliscape is seeking to appoint an experienced Supply Chain Manager who will play a crucial role in developing and expanding our key supply chain partnerships, ensuring the availability and reliability of our products. They will be responsible for identifying and engaging new suppliers, as well as nurturing and enhancing relationships with existing ones. By working closely with every part of the organisation, the Supply Chain Manager will ensure that our supply chain operations are efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with the company's strategic goals. Their efforts will be vital in maintaining a seamless flow of goods and services, ultimately contributing to the overall success and growth of the business.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a supply chain which works effectively together to provide goods and services to meet current and future needs.
- Identify and engage suppliers to meet current and future needs of the business.
- Evaluate proposals using scoring matrices for supplier evaluation, including cost, quality, risk and scalability.
- Conduct supplier qualification audits, site visits, and assessments to ensure quality standards, performance and service levels.
- Lead supplier negotiations on price, contract, and service levels with support from the Commercial Team.
- Support the handover from internal production to EMS suppliers to ensure continuity and quality.
- Coordinate with Project Delivery, Service Delivery and Sales Teams to manage hardware allocation and availability.
- Manage stakeholders and develop cooperative relationships with suppliers and colleagues.
- Manage ongoing supplier relationships to align with Intelliscape ethos and requirements.
- Negotiate and contract with suppliers in conjunction with the Commercial team.
- Oversee supplier performance, audits, and quality assurance in collaboration with the Quality Manager.
- Manage Stores including Purchasing & Receiving, Goods-In inspections, RMAs, and overall stores availability.
- Coordinate Line of Balance with Sales and Delivery.
- Develop RfP requirements with the Chief Hardware Engineer and Commercial team.
- Process control for purchase and receipt of goods; provide feedback on supplier roadmaps and innovations.
- Manage stock for Delivery and Service; line management of a growing team.
- Perform other duties as reasonably required.
Education, Qualifications & Experience:
- Demonstrable experience in selecting suppliers, managing procurement or manufacturing outsourcing.
- Proven track record in cost modelling and risk assessments.
- Knowledge of ISO standards, quality systems and supplier audit protocols.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in Goods-In and Stock Control.
