We are recruiting for an experienced Cloud Engineer with strong Microsoft Intune and Entra ID experience to join a growing IT Infrastructure team. This role is offered as an initial 6-month fixed term contract, with a strong likelihood of becoming permanent due to continued investment in cloud and workplace technologies. The role offers hybrid working with flexibility around Birmingham.
You will play a key role in managing modern Microsoft cloud environments, supporting endpoint management, identity services, and Microsoft 365 platforms.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and administer Microsoft Intune device and endpoint management platforms
- Support Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) including authentication and conditional access
- Maintain and support Microsoft 365 services including Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive
- Implement device compliance and endpoint security policies
- Support Azure cloud services and infrastructure environments
- Maintain patching and security across cloud and endpoint systems
- Troubleshoot technical issues across Microsoft cloud platforms
- Support onboarding of new users, devices, and environments
- Maintain system documentation and configuration standards
- Support infrastructure improvement and optimisation initiatives
- Strong experience with Microsoft Intune
- Experience administering Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365
- Knowledge of endpoint management and device compliance
- Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills
- Experience working within Microsoft cloud environments
- Understanding of Azure networking fundamentals
- Experience supporting VPN connectivity
- Experience with Fortigate firewalls
- Awareness or exposure to AI technologies or Microsoft Copilot
- Microsoft certifications (Azure, Intune, M365)
- £45,000 - £55,000 salary
- 6-month fixed term contract
