We are recruiting for an experienced Cloud Engineer with strong Microsoft Intune and Entra ID experience to join a growing IT Infrastructure team. This role is offered as an initial 6-month fixed term contract, with a strong likelihood of becoming permanent due to continued investment in cloud and workplace technologies. The role offers hybrid working with flexibility around Birmingham.

You will play a key role in managing modern Microsoft cloud environments, supporting endpoint management, identity services, and Microsoft 365 platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and administer Microsoft Intune device and endpoint management platforms
  • Support Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) including authentication and conditional access
  • Maintain and support Microsoft 365 services including Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive
  • Implement device compliance and endpoint security policies
  • Support Azure cloud services and infrastructure environments
  • Maintain patching and security across cloud and endpoint systems
  • Troubleshoot technical issues across Microsoft cloud platforms
  • Support onboarding of new users, devices, and environments
  • Maintain system documentation and configuration standards
  • Support infrastructure improvement and optimisation initiatives
Required Skills and Experience
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Intune
  • Experience administering Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365
  • Knowledge of endpoint management and device compliance
  • Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills
  • Experience working within Microsoft cloud environments
Desirable Skills
  • Understanding of Azure networking fundamentals
  • Experience supporting VPN connectivity
  • Experience with Fortigate firewalls
  • Awareness or exposure to AI technologies or Microsoft Copilot
  • Microsoft certifications (Azure, Intune, M365)
