Design mobile experiences that genuinely improve people’s health. We’re working with an innovative medical technology company developing connected health products used by customers worldwide. They’re looking for a UX/UI Designer with strong mobile app experience to help shape intuitive, engaging mobile experiences that support people using healthcare technology in their daily lives. This is a UX-led role where you’ll influence how users interact with mobile applications connected to at-home health devices. If you enjoy solving complex user problems and designing elegant mobile experiences that have real-world impact, this is a fantastic opportunity.
The Opportunity
- You’ll play a key role in shaping the user experience and visual design of mobile applications for iOS and Android that connect to innovative health technology used in the home.
- Working closely with product teams, engineers, business analysts and clinical specialists, you’ll help create mobile experiences that are:
- Intuitive
- Accessible
- Engaging
- Safe for real-world health use
You’ll contribute across the full design lifecycle — from research and journey mapping through to high-fidelity UI design and usability validation. This is a chance to work on products where thoughtful UX design directly improves people’s lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design intuitive mobile app experiences for iOS and Android
- Create user journeys, flows, wireframes and interactive prototypes
- Produce high-fidelity UI designs for mobile applications
- Conduct user research and usability testing
- Translate user insights into improved UX solutions
- Collaborate with engineers to ensure designs are implementable and performant
- Contribute to design systems and reusable UI components
- Help design onboarding flows and key user interactions
- Participate in Agile product development and design reviews
What We’re Looking For
- Professional experience designing mobile applications
- Strong UX thinking and user-centred design approach
- Experience creating wireframes, prototypes and UI designs
- Strong Figma skills
- Experience designing for iOS and Android platforms
- Experience working with Agile product teams
- Ability to clearly communicate design decisions to technical and non-technical teams
Nice To Have (Not Essential)
- Experience designing consumer mobile applications
- Exposure to health tech, wearable tech or wellness products
- Experience contributing to design systems
- Experience working in regulated industries such as medical devices
