We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Frontend Developer to join a project based in Central London, holding ACTIVE SC/DV Clearance and can join ASAP (SC Clearance is a must to start on the project). Applicants must be eligible and willing to go through DV clearance. We will apply SC/DV clearance for suitable candidates.

As the Senior Developer, you will work as part of a small but growing team, owning the development and support of one of our customers' platforms. You'll work closely with customers to define and build solutions as well as manage the environment and day-to-day operations of the platform. Your role will include:

  • Design, evaluate, code, configure, test and document applications based on system and user requirements.
  • Using current programming languages and technologies, write code, complete programming, and perform testing and debugging of applications.
  • Mentor apprentices and junior members of the team.
  • Support our presales team in tenders and bids.
  • Create a culture of internal blogging and content writing.

Location - Hybrid, Remote and offices based in Central and West London.

Essential Skill Criteria

  • Experience in full software development life cycle of web applications and microservices.
  • Experience in development of complex cloud-based applications using the following technologies: JavaScript (Node.js), HTML, CSS, Redis, Express, Nunjucks, Postgres, Kibana, and Grafana.
  • Experience of working with Mocha, Sinon, Chai, Microservices.
  • Experience of developing and consuming REST and SOAP APIs.
  • Experience working on projects using open-source technology for developing applications and deploying in AWS cloud.
  • Experience working with GIT version control systems in frequent software release cycles.
  • Experience of implementing user authentication and authorisation in a web application utilising Keycloak.
  • Experience of documenting low-level design.
  • Experience working within Agile SCRUM.
  • Experience interacting with Postgres database.

  • Able to identify and communicate issues/risks applying technical and root cause analysis skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, influencing, and reasoning skills.
