Working for a market-leading PropTech software business with significant reach across the UK property market, the Senior UX Designer will play a key role in shaping complex, user-centred digital products across a broad property technology platform. This is a business investing heavily in the future of property software, with a focus on simplifying and streamlining the property journey through modern, scalable digital products. Their platforms support a wide range of markets, including estate agency, conveyancing, surveying, lender valuations, land asset management, environmental consultancy, and government sectors.
The Senior UX Designer will take ownership of complex problem spaces from discovery through to delivery, uncovering user insight and translating this into intuitive, accessible, and commercially valuable product experiences. The role will suit someone who enjoys solving complex workflow challenges, working closely with Product and Engineering, and influencing product direction through evidence-based design. This is not a traditional UX role focused only on wireframes and interface detail. The business is looking for someone forward-thinking, commercially aware, and comfortable exploring modern design workflows, including AI-enhanced design and research practices. They are especially interested in designers who are curious, experimental, and able to connect user needs with broader business outcomes.
The role is fully remote within the UK, with offices in Bristol, Reading, and Exeter available for occasional collaboration where practical. The business cannot offer sponsorship, so candidates must already live in the UK and have full right to work.

- Own complex UX problem spaces from discovery through to delivery
- Design intuitive, accessible, and scalable digital experiences across complex workflows
- Conduct and apply user research to uncover insight and validate product decisions
- Use a hypothesis-driven, data-informed approach to identify and solve user problems
- Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and senior stakeholders to shape product direction
- Translate user needs, business goals, and technical constraints into elegant product solutions
- Create high-quality user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and design outputs using modern design tools
- Contribute to the development and evolution of UX research practices and methodologies
- Champion evidence-based design and user-centred thinking across product teams
- Support the use of AI-enhanced design, research, and workflow practices
- Work across B2B software products with elements of B2C-style user experience
- Contribute to design systems, accessibility standards, and scalable design practices
- Influence stakeholders through clear communication, insight, and design rationale
- Mentor, support, and provide feedback to other designers where required
- Help improve UX maturity and design culture across the organisation
Candidates for the Senior UX Designer role must have:
- Strong UX design experience across both discovery and delivery
- Experience designing complex digital products, platforms, or workflow-based software
- Strong user research skills, including insight generation and problem validation
- A clean, modern portfolio demonstrating strong UX thinking and product outcomes
- Experience working in cross-functional product teams alongside Product and Engineering
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to think beyond visual detail and connect design work to business outcomes
- Experience designing scalable, accessible, and user-centred digital experiences
- Good working knowledge of modern design and prototyping tools such as Figma
- Experience contributing to or working within design systems
- Curiosity around AI tools and modern product/design workflows
- A flexible, pragmatic, and forward-thinking approach to design
- Full right to work in the UK
Experience in any of the following would be highly desirable:
- PropTech, property software, real estate technology, conveyancing, mortgage, or surveying platforms
- Geospatial, mapping, GIS, location intelligence, or data-heavy products
- B2B SaaS, enterprise software, or complex workflow tools
- Products that combine B2B complexity with strong B2C-style usability
- AI-assisted design, research, prototyping, or workflow tools
- Tools beyond traditional design platforms, such as Cursor or other AI-enabled product tools
The business is looking for a strong, well-vetted candidate who can bring fresh thinking, commercial awareness, and a modern approach to UX. This would suit a Senior UX Designer who wants to work on complex, meaningful product challenges within a well-funded PropTech software group.
