Overview
In this role you will shape the vertical GTM for travel and lending within a payments platform, translating a technically rich product into compelling value for finance and operations leaders. You’ll define differentiated positioning, build a scalable vertical model, and partner with product and sales to accelerate pipeline in mid-market and enterprise segments. You will own vertical campaigns and enablement, driving category authority and cross-functional collaboration. This is a high-ownership role with significant scope to shape product marketing in a growing, profitable fintech environment.

Responsibilities
- Define differentiated vertical positioning for travel and lending based on customer insight and competitive context
- Translate the platform into messaging for finance, operations and commercial buyers with consistent narrative across verticals
- Develop a scalable entry and expansion model for industry verticals
- Partner with product on roadmap prioritisation and market delivery
- Create enablement assets for deals (pitches, decks, one-pagers, demos, battlecards, win stories)
- Improve pipeline quality, win rates and deal velocity through close work with sales
- Build vertical intelligence ( Personas, journeys, regulatory context, competition) and synthesize insights to inform product, marketing and sales decisions
- Own launch plans for vertical propositions and product updates across web, events, press and demand gen
- Collaborate with brand, content and demand generation to drive vertical storytelling and category authority
Key requirements
- Six+ years in product marketing or product strategy in B2B SaaS, fintech or payments
- Experience marketing to mid-market and enterprise buyers
- Strong storytelling and craft for complex products
- Commercial orientation with focus on pipeline and revenue
- Technical fluency to engage with product/engineering and translate tech into buyer value
- Ability to influence cross-functionally and lead without authority
- High standards for messaging, visual presentation and data-driven decision making
