We’re looking for a Head of Product / VP Product to take ownership of a critical portfolio of risk & compliance products used across the Financial Services and Insurance sectors. These products enable 60,000+ professionals to make confident, compliant decisions that support the safe and lawful movement of global maritime trade.
The Head of Product / VP Product will lead a team of 6 Product Managers, oversee a £4m CapEx budget, and report directly to the CPO (who will be focused on M&A over the next year). This is a high‑impact role with full accountability across product vision, lifecycle, customer outcomes, and commercial performance.
Responsibilities
- Own product strategy and roadmap for risk & compliance portfolio.
- Drive product discovery, design, launch and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with engineering, data, and compliance teams to deliver high‑quality solutions.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate product metrics.
- Lead, mentor, and grow the product management team.
- Ensure alignment with financial, regulatory, and market requirements.
Qualifications
- Strong background managing multiple product lines in data‑ or API‑driven businesses.
- Proven leadership of cross‑functional teams.
- Exposure to maritime, regulatory, or financial environments (or similar complex compliance contexts).
- Scale‑up experience is helpful.
