Working for a UK D2C subscription services business, the Head of Performance Marketing / Senior Digital Marketing Manager / Head of Paid Media role involves optimising campaigns across all digital channels, driving organic traffic and optimising funnel conversion. There are opportunities to be creative, test different channels and activities, including content marketing, and improve targeting, tracking and measurement capability. This is a mostly office-based role (Hertfordshire, near WD6), with some potential for hybrid working.
The Head of Performance Marketing / Senior Digital Marketing Manager / Head of Paid Media will:
- Own all performance marketing activities, launching & optimising campaigns across all digital channels.
- Maximise productivity through automation and feed integration.
- Rapidly identify high-potential ideas via a ‘test and learn’ approach.
- Implement monitoring tools and build the process/reports for analysing PPC performance.
- Balance revenue/lead growth with acceptable ROI levels.
- Collaborate with engineering, data science, SEO and content as needed to deliver campaigns.
- Work closely with other channels to achieve business goals, encompassing cannibalisation, keyword opportunities and ad copy.
- Make data-driven decisions based on metrics, industry insights, market trends, and the competitive landscape.
Candidates for the Head of Performance Marketing / Senior Digital Marketing Manager / Head of Paid Media role must have:
- Expert level hands-on paid search experience, agency or client side B2C / D2C transactional eCommerce experience from any sectors, e.g. retail, travel, media, airlines, price comparison, marketplaces, gambling, edtech, healthtech, experiences.
- Happy being hands-on, managing and optimising campaigns themselves directly as a senior IC.
- Any international campaign experience is an advantage, but not essential.
- Very strong numeracy and comfort with data, ideally numeracy/STEM degree or equivalent experience.
