Working for a large, listed consumer product manufacturing business, the Content Optimisation Manager (Amazon-focused) / Digital Content Manager role involves optimising product content listings on their Amazon channel to increase organic page ranking, product visibility and conversion rates. Experience with Amazon is ideal, not essential.
This is a hybrid role with 3 days per week in Aylesbury. There are excellent opportunities to learn, develop and progress within the large multi-national organisation.
Required Experience:- Experience optimising product content to drive organic visibility and conversion in an eCommerce environment, ideally via Amazon (this is not essential).
- Worked across any consumer product category, such as homeware, electronics, fashion, clothing, DIY, home and garden, kitchenware, etc.
- A strong data focus and comfort with data.
- Capable of dealing with senior management level internally & externally.
- Lead content development and publishing across a large range of products and categories, in all formats and locations.
- Project manage and lead new product introductions, working with external agencies and internal brand marketing and product management teams.
- Create and publish detailed and extensively optimised content for Etail product listings.
- Prioritise and implement content improvements on existing product to increase visibility and sales conversion on Amazon and other key e-tailers.
- Manage relationship and brief third-party agency to ensure use of the most relevant, up to date product and brand presentation to achieve higher levels of conversion for new and existing products.
- Monitor, report, and optimise product listings and product detail pages across the core EMEA markets.
- Audit best in class content from direct competition and make recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure timely product activation against committed timings, completing necessary administrative tasks.
- Ensure Etail content is shared and available to the wider organisation and external customers.
- Work with central marketing and brand teams to develop improved material for existing, as well as new products.
- Utilise merchandising management systems, primarily Amazon Vendor Central and agency platforms to manage product content.
- Be a leader within the Centre of Excellence Team with the core focus of delivering optimised and category leading content on the Amazon platform.
- Share best practice & support the wider Etail team as required.
