Working for a large B2B / B2C marketplace business who dominate their sector and are backed by a larger global software business, the Product Manager / Growth Product Manager / Marketplace Product Lead role is a full lifecycle product position particularly focusing on growth, customer needs and product strategy, as well as execution.
The organisation is building the commercial strength of the product team, to increase understanding of customer problems, analyse the market and develop solutions that deliver real value and growth. You’ll work within a product team of six, reporting to the VP of Product.
This is a hybrid role with 1-2 days per week in either central London or Manchester.
The Product Manager / Growth Product Manager / Marketplace Product Lead will:

Own the roadmap for the UK marketplace

Carry out the research to make informed product decisions, prioritise the roadmap, achieve business outcomes and define the actual features you’ll be building together with the dev team.

Identify the metrics that to understand and enhance product performance.

Write user stories, refine requirements and build features, systems and applications to power the marketplace.

Track and measure the performance of features and functionality.

Own the sprint backlog and overall backlog, in partnership with the Leadership Team, ensuring it maintains alignment with the roadmap and business objectives

Work with the Engineering Team lead to work out the best ways to build solutions, ensuring stability and scalability for the long term.

Contribute to the methods and practices within the product team, support and mentor more junior Product Managers

Support the agile lifecycle, facilitate existing processes and support improvement of them

Partner with and support the QA team in accepting work items as done
Candidates for the Product Manager / Growth Product Manager / Marketplace Product Lead must have:

4+ years’ full lifecycle product management experience with a marketplace business (B2B or B2C), ideally within SaaS and/or PropTech.

Worked with any marketplace business or similar, such as price comparison, services marketplaces, etc.

Very strong communication skills to work with internal & external stakeholders and customers.

Proven experience developing products or features that deliver value and commercial impact.

Experience of product growth, testing, UX improvements, customer retention and journey optimisation.
