Intelligent Evidence is an education technology company helping schools make sense of their documentation and clearly demonstrate evidence against inspection frameworks. Our platform gives school leaders clarity, confidence, and control — without adding workload. We’re growing rapidly since launching in September 2025 and we’re looking for a former or current school leader who gets schools to help us build relationships and support schools who genuinely need what we do.

The Role

This is a relationship-led sales role, not a hard sell. Sales experience is not essential — credibility and communication matter far more. You’ll be speaking to headteachers, assistant heads, and MAT leaders who are already feeling the pressure of inspection and accountability — helping them understand how Intelligent Evidence can support them.

We’re ideally looking for:

  • A current or former Assistant Head, Deputy Head, or senior leader
  • We are open to term time only contracts, in family-friendly hours
  • Someone who enjoys professional conversations with other school leaders

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Talking to school leaders (mainly heads, deputies, assistant heads, MAT leaders)
  • Explaining Intelligent Evidence in a clear, credible, school-savvy way
  • Following up warm leads and enquiries
  • Generating additional pipeline
  • Managing pre-sales resource and working with our marketing team and CoFounders
  • Feeding back insights from schools to help shape our product and messaging
  • Acting as a trusted peer rather than a “salesperson”

You won’t be:

  • Cold-calling random schools all day
  • Working evenings or weekends
  • Using pushy sales scripts or targets that don’t sit right in education

Working Pattern

  • Full time or Term time only
  • Family-friendly hours (e.g. during the school day)
  • Fully remote
  • Flexible around school commitments, childcare, and life

This role is designed to fit around an education professional’s life, not replace it with something more stressful.

Who This Is For

  • Is an Assistant Head / Deputy Head (current or recently left)
  • Understands Ofsted, inspection pressure, and school realities
  • Is credible speaking to other senior leaders
  • Is confident, warm, and professional on calls
  • Wants to stay connected to education without staying on the treadmill

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary (pro-rata term time only if interested)
  • Flexible, humane working hours
  • A product that genuinely helps schools
  • A small but growing, values-led team that understands education
  • The chance to shape a growing education company from the inside

How to Apply

If you’re curious rather than certain, that’s fine. Send a short note explaining:

  • Your current (or most recent) role in education
  • Why this role appeals to you
  • What your ideal working pattern would look like
